The ATC Room
Wilma is gone
Thank you to everyone for your thoughts and concerns during Hurricane Wilma. My area didn't get hit too hard. We were on the top edge of the eye as it hit the southwest coast and went through Florida. We had only minor damage to our property, but some other places around us weren't so lucky. Just around the corner, a framing and art gallery had it's roof collapse in. A few miles down the street, a large roof was blown off of a building and it crushed a nearby trailer. Power lines were down all over the place and many people were without power. The city of Naples and it's surrounding cities and islands were the hardest hit.
There is some other sad news for my girlfriend and me. While I was at work at the TV station, her father (whom we lived with) had a massive heart attack while taking shelter from the storm hours before it hit. The paramedics were not able save him.
Therefore, with personal issues and working overtime, I haven't been able to have much time for mail art. I have some postcards made up that I should be able to get in the mail tomorrow. I have not forgotten about any of you that sent art to me. I just ask for you to be a little patient receiving art in return.
Thanks again for all of your concerns!

Preparing for Wilma
Over the last few days, I have received some mail art and ATCs. I have also created more than a dozen postcards a few days ago. I haven't gotten around to getting pictures of any of them. For the last two days, I have been working a lot of overtime and getting prepared for Hurricane Wilma. Some of the computer models predict the storm to hit our area early Monday morning as a Category 2 hurricane.
Therefore, I will not be able to do anything with mail art over the next few days. I work for a TV station, so I will be working even more overtime. After I leave for work early this afternoon, I won't be back home until early Tuesday morning if we are not flooded. I live just a few miles from the Gulf of Mexico and a few blocks from a river flowing into the Gulf. I am hoping to get some mail art sent out by the middle of the week.
Thank you to everyone that has sent me something. If you haven't received anything from me in a little while, please be patient and I should be getting some ATCs to you soon.

An ATC received from Soluna last week. Thanks!
Working on ATCs
I apologize. I am falling behind on sending out ATCs to the individuals that have sent me ATCs for my ATC mail art call. However, I have been working on ATCs periodically and currently have about 10 to 12 cards completed. I will create a few more and start sending them out soon.
