Apologies again...
A week ago, I published an apology. I just received a note from a person that sent me two ATCs at the end of October or beginning of November that is upset that I haven't sent two ATCs back yet. For those of you that have been paying attention to this blog, you will know that I have every intention to send ATCs back to people that sent me some.
For those of you that haven't been following along, I will recap what has been going on over the last few months. Towards the end of October, I was packing stuff up in preparation of Hurricane Wilma. Just hours before the hurricane hit our area, I had to leave work and rush my girlfriend to the hospital because her father went into cardiac arrest. Unfortunately, he didn't make it. The house we were living in belonged to her father, which went into probate and forced us to find somewhere else to live.
We have just moved into a new place and still have a lot of unpacking to do. I have started setting up a room for mail art and ATCs, as well as working on my fine art paintings.
On top of all of this, I have been working a tremendous amount of overtime. The overtime should slow down after the holidays, which will give me some much needed time to relax and time for art.
Please try to understand my situation while waiting to receive some ATCs and mail art in return. In the last couple of months, there were a few days I had a little bit of free time and I did make some ATCs. I still have those to send out, but I have to find the box they were packed in. I do feel bad that it has taken me such a long time to reply to people. Please accept my apologies.
Also in the note, it was mentioned that I had an ad for an ATC swap in Rubber Stamp Madness. Let it be known that I did not submit that classified ad to the magazine. I feel honored that they would print it in the magazine and I received some wonderful ATCs because of it. Apparently, it was printed again in the newest issue. I had nothing to do with the printing of the classified in any of the issues.
My art will resume again soon!
